North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has released a new song titled "Aishite" featuring themes of "betrayal" and "suffering." The release arrived on Thursday along with a horror-inspired music video.

In the video, West is seen in various school and arcade settings, sporting white lipstick with a black skull design, black teeth, hand piercings, and a long icy blue wig. The lyrics express feelings of abandonment and distress.

"Ayy, ain’t nobody finna save me / Ayy, and it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy) / Why can’t I escape? ‘Cause they chase me (They chase me) / Just love me, everyone betrays me," West raps in the first verse. She continues, "I’m seein’ blood daily (Daily)/ What? And it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy)/ Yeah, can’t escape ’cause they chase me."

The song's dark themes have drawn concern from viewers in the comments section of the music video. "This song is really sad. I was depressed at 13 too , hopefully North gets the love and support she needs from somewhere," one commenter wrote.

Last month, West canceled her first headlining tour, the 14-date Kimokawaii Tour with Molly Santana, less than a week before its scheduled start. Santana apologized to ticket holders, promising to reschedule.

West previously released her EP "N0rth4evr" and performed at Rolling Loud in Miami in May.

In February, Kim Kardashian spoke about her daughter's music aspirations, telling Complex that North "loves producing music and wanted to share it with the world and isn’t afraid if people will like it." Kardashian added that North is similar to her father in that "if she likes it, that’s enough for her, and she doesn’t really care about outside opinions."
