A former high school counselor in Hillsborough, North Carolina, has been arrested on charges of indecent liberties and second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Lesli Lambeth Bryant, 37, allegedly sent sexually explicit photos and videos of herself to students at Orange High School.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office issued an arrest warrant for Bryant after school officials were alerted to the alleged misconduct. The alleged offenses occurred in November 2025.
Bryant turned herself in on Thursday, July 2, and appeared in court the same day. Prosecutors stated that Bryant communicated with students via Snapchat, sending sexually explicit content.
Following the allegations, Bryant was placed on paid suspension by Orange County Schools. She resigned from her position on June 12. A spokesperson for the school system stated that the district takes student safety and well-being seriously and has deferred questions regarding the ongoing criminal investigation to the Sheriff's Office.
Bryant is being held at the Orange County Detention Center on a $50,000 secured bond. The investigation is ongoing.
