Comedian Nimesh Patel has included pointed jokes about FBI Director Kash Patel in his upcoming Netflix special, "Nimesh Patel: Buy the Dip," set to premiere on September 22.

In a teaser released by Netflix, Patel jokes about Kash Patel's height and suggests his tenure could affect other Indian Americans in leadership positions, quipping that filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan "may never work again" due to Kash Patel's actions.

Variety reports that the special will also address themes of political corruption in Washington D.C., the absurdity of parenting, and the comedian's own Indian family.

The jokes come amid recent scrutiny of Kash Patel, who has faced allegations regarding his use of taxpayer funds for private travel. A report in The Atlantic also claimed he exhibited "excessive drinking and unexplained absences" at work, which Kash Patel has denied, filing a defamation lawsuit against the outlet.

Nimesh Patel, who was the first Indian American writer for "Saturday Night Live" in 2017, has previously commented on Kash Patel, including a segment on "The Daily Show" where he acknowledged his shared surname with the FBI director and expressed disapproval of his politics.
