Newly unearthed video footage may represent the last known images of 18-year-old Nolan Wells before he was found dead days after a Fourth of July party.

The short video clip, obtained by TMZ, appears to show Wells at a party on Horn Island off the Mississippi coast on July 4. In the footage, a Black man, believed to be Wells, is seen bending over on the back of an anchored boat. He is potentially reaching for a drink. The individual in the video appears to be wearing light-blue swim trunks, similar to those Wells was photographed in earlier that day.

The person who provided the video to investigators expressed confidence that the individual depicted was Wells. The clip has been turned over to authorities who are probing the death of the college football player. Wells was reported missing after the party and was discovered deceased several days later.

This development follows previous reports concerning Wells' disappearance and death, including audio of friends calling for help after their boat reportedly broke down and information about Wells' phone undergoing inspection due to concerns over deleted content. His mother has publicly expressed her grief and search for answers regarding her son's death.
