A New York woman has been arrested and charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS, accused by federal prosecutors of plotting to bomb the New York State Capitol building and kill lawmakers.
Jessica Bowie, 35, of Albany, allegedly surveilled the capitol multiple times and purchased materials to construct an explosive device, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday. The FBI indicated that Bowie had pledged allegiance to the terror group and discussed disguising the bomb in a DoorDash bag. Her alleged plan aimed to target state senators during a meeting.
