A road rage incident on the Belt Parkway early Sunday morning resulted in the fatal beating of Crisanie Dockery, a 47-year-old father of two and employee at JFK Airport. Dockery was reportedly on his way home from work when the altercation occurred.

Police found Dockery unconscious near Farmer's Boulevard, with his coworker sustaining minor injuries. Dockery was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital. The assailant fled the scene and remains at large, according to authorities.

Dockery, a native of Jamaica, worked as a ramp agent at the Queens airport. He had two sons, aged 21 and 13, and was in the process of arranging for his wife to join them in New York. His sister, Marsha Dockery, described the incident as a devastating and unnecessary tragedy for the family.

"How can you take him away from his children, his family?" she told the New York Post. "It’s so unnecessary. It could have been death with so differently."

She further described her brother as an outgoing and friendly person. "We are hoping that someone who sees something comes forward," she added. Portrait of Crisanie Dockery, a 47-year-old man who was a passenger in a road-rage incident.

According to his sister, the altercation followed a minor accident, leading to Dockery being bludgeoned. His younger son had not yet been informed of the death by Sunday night and was reportedly distraught. Police are investigating the incident but have not released a description of the suspect.
