A new crew, including Nasa astronaut Anil Menon, has launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for an eight-month mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Menon is joined by Russian cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina. This marks Menon's first journey into space, while Dubrov and Kikina are on their second spaceflights.
The trio lifted off Tuesday aboard a Soyuz spacecraft. They are expected to spend approximately eight months on the ISS before returning to Earth in April 2027, according to Nasa.
