Netflix has renewed Tyler Perry's drama series 'Beauty in Black' for a fourth season, reversing an earlier announcement that the third season would be the final installment.
Netflix announced the renewal in July 2026, following a strong performance by the show's second season, which spent six weeks on the Global Top 10 list. The series currently holds the number two spot on Netflix's Top 10 list with its third season.
Tyler Perry expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to continue the story. "Beauty in Black is back for Season 4 and the Bellarie family’s story is far from finished," Perry told Tudum. "There was so much more I wanted to explore and I’m grateful I get to keep telling this story. To the audience that has been on this ride with us from day one, thank you for watching and sharing it with the world. More episodes are on the way!"
The third season of 'Beauty in Black' consists of eight episodes. Unlike the first two seasons, which were released in two parts of 16 episodes each, the third season comprises a single part.
'Beauty in Black' Season 3 is currently available for streaming on Netflix. The streamer offers ad-free monthly plans starting at $8.99, with Standard and Premium options available for $19.99 and $26.99 respectively. Netflix does not currently offer a free trial.
