NBC has officially announced the complete cast for "The Traitors: New Blood," a new iteration of the reality competition series that will feature 22 non-celebrity contestants. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the show will take place in the Scottish Highlands and challenges participants with deception and strategy in pursuit of a significant cash prize.

The premiere of "The Traitors: New Blood" is set for September 21 on NBC, with two one-hour episodes. Following the initial broadcast, the series will continue with weekly episodes on Thursdays. Episodes will also be available for streaming the next day on Peacock.

This season marks a departure from the show's recent installments, which featured well-known personalities. The original "The Traitors," which concluded its fourth season earlier this year, included celebrities like Maura Higgins, Rob Rausch, Lisa Rinna, and Eric Nam. The U.S. version of "The Traitors" initially featured a mix of celebrities and civilians in its first season, but subsequent seasons, including the most recent one, have exclusively cast public figures. "New Blood" is the first U.S. season to return to an all-civilian cast.

The 22 contestants hail from diverse backgrounds and various regions across the United States. Among them are individuals such as a cowboy from Texas, a doctor from Oklahoma, a former NFL cheerleader from Mississippi, and a lawyer from New York City. Former MLB player and sports broadcaster Xavier Scruggs is also among the participants.

Fans have already begun speculating on social media about potential "traitors" within the cast, analyzing contestant photos and sharing their suspicions about who might be deceptive and who might be a "faithful."

"The Traitors: New Blood" will premiere on NBC on September 21 at 8 p.m. ET. Subsequent episodes will air weekly on Thursdays, with next-day streaming on Peacock.
