The U.S. Navy has suspended its active search for a sailor who went missing after an MH-60S helicopter went down in the Arabian Sea earlier this week. The extensive search effort, involving the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, concluded after covering more than 14,000 square miles over 102 hours.

The U.S. Naval Forces Central Command announced the conclusion of the search via social media. The sailor's name is being withheld in accordance with Navy policy until at least 24 hours after next-of-kin notification is complete.
