A mysterious installation of hundreds of solar-powered Bluetooth speakers discovered on Mount Shasta, California, has been explained. The speakers, initially causing concern and speculation about their purpose, are part of a private initiative by a landowner aimed at promoting world peace and encouraging a more compassionate lifestyle, particularly regarding veganism.

Karrie Ann Snure, who discovered the speakers while horseback riding with her daughter on private property adjacent to California government land, shared her findings after a video of her discovery went viral. She initially worried the speakers might be used for summoning purposes. However, after contacting the property owner, referred to as "Speaker Dude," she learned the installation was intended to spread positive messages into the universe.

The landowner conveyed to Snure that the world "don't have enough vegan to balance" and warned that "if the slaughtering of our animal co-inhabitant friends don’t stop, this heavy karma will come back to us." He views the project as a "personal and spiritual project created with positive intentions," believing that "compassion can heal many of the challenges that we face."

Snure shared screenshots of her conversations with the landowner, who expressed a deep connection to Mount Shasta. According to the landowner, the speakers are a way to project spoken words and positive messages, with a core message of world peace and a plea for more compassionate treatment of one another. He believes his message will now travel farther than the physical speakers ever could.

The landowner has proposed a system for the removal of speakers based on public commitment to veganism. For every ten people who pledge to convert to veganism, one speaker will be removed. Alternatively, one speaker will be removed for every 30 people who promise to try vegan food and post video evidence, or for every 100 people who are already vegan and post under a related video. This initiative aims to connect actions of compassion with the physical presence of the speakers on the mountainside.
