The divorce proceedings between Sydney socialite Montarna McDonald and her ex-husband Nick Pitt have reportedly become acrimonious, with Pitt taking his new girlfriend, Ashleigh, on a family holiday with their daughters.
Sources close to McDonald claim she was "furious" upon learning that Pitt had included Ashleigh in the vacation, which took place at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort in Port Douglas. Pitt, a personal injury specialist, shared photos on Instagram highlighting their trip, including one of him kissing Ashleigh and another of him playing with his daughters in the pool.
The inclusion of Ashleigh on the family trip has also fueled engagement rumors, exacerbated by a photograph that was reportedly removed from Pitt's social media. McDonald, the founder of PR firm The Audience Agency, is herself holidaying in Indonesia.
The couple, who are part of Sydney's society set, reportedly split in late 2024. While they were rumored to have attempted couples therapy last year, their separation appears to have taken a bitter turn.
Ashleigh's presence at a recent event, the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation's annual ladies' luncheon, was noted, though McDonald was also in attendance.
