Britons are being warned not to consume certain batches of Graham's Family Dairy semi-skimmed milk due to the presence of veterinary antibiotics, including penicillin. The Food Standards Agency issued the recall for milk with a best before date of July 31.

The recall affects one-pint, one-litre, and two-litre cartons of the affected semi-skimmed milk. Health officials stated that the contamination with veterinary medicines may render the product unsafe for consumption and could pose a health risk to individuals with penicillin allergies.

Consumers who have purchased the affected milk are advised not to drink it and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
