Metallica Announces 2027 'M72' World Tour Extension with Limp Bizkit

Metallica has announced an extension of their ongoing 'M72 Tour,' with a new series of 12 stadium shows scheduled for Spring 2027 across North America. Special guests Limp Bizkit and Avatar are set to join the band for these dates, which will run from early May through mid-June.

The tour will include a stop at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, New York, on June 8, 2027. Other scheduled performances include stops in San Diego, San Antonio, Kansas City, Indianapolis, and Cleveland.

Prior to these newly announced dates, Metallica is slated to complete a 24-concert residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, dubbed 'Life Burns Faster.' These Sphere shows are part of their 'No Repeat Weekend' concept, where the band aims to play different songs on consecutive nights. Based on past 'No Repeat Weekend' performances, setlists have included staples like "Master of Puppets," "Enter Sandman," "Seek & Destroy," and "One."

Metallica also has a pair of 'No Repeat Weekend' performances scheduled at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, on November 19 and 21, 2026. These shows will celebrate the venue's 25th anniversary, marking the band's first performance in Connecticut since July 1998.

Tickets for the newly announced Spring 2027 'M72' dates will go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 25, at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster. Secondary market sites are also offering tickets.

Metallica released their 11th studio album, "72 Seasons," on April 14, 2023. The album features tracks such as "Lux Æterna" and the title track "72 Seasons."
