A senior advisor to former first lady Melania Trump has refuted what he described as "gossip" concerning President Donald Trump and his aide Natalie Harp. Mark Beckman criticized the media's attention on Harp, stating that it distracts from the accomplishments of both the former president and Melania Trump.
In an interview posted on X, host Stella Escobedo claimed the "mainstream media won't even touch" Melania Trump's work during her husband's presidency, instead focusing on what she termed "garbage tabloid gossip about Natalie Harp."
Beckman echoed these sentiments, calling the reports "ridiculous" and asserting that the media "doesn’t know" about the private lives of the former first lady and her family. He described Harp as a "loyal, hard-working White House aide" and a cancer survivor for whom President Trump allegedly facilitated life-saving off-label treatment.
"The liberal media is ridiculous," Beckman said. "They don’t know anything about the first lady’s personal and private life. They don’t even take the time to put us on air to cover these incredible achievements that our first lady has accomplished during this 47th and frankly the 45th presidential administration."
He further stated, "What they need to do is look in the mirror because they’re all attacking this hardworking, very talented, very intelligent person in Natalie Harp." Beckman also referred to Harp as the "human printer."
Escobedo suggested that there is "nothing wrong" with the relationship between Trump and Harp, urging critics to "get over it." Beckman agreed, emphasizing that media speculation on the matter should cease in favor of reporting on the "substantial achievements" of the former first lady and president over the past year and a half.
