Megyn Kelly has publicly supported Martha Stewart, characterizing the homemaking mogul as truthful and mentally acute amid a dispute over alleged comments made about Meghan Markle. Kelly stated on her August 13 show that Stewart "doesn't spew s**t" and instead "gives it straight," adding that Stewart is "sharp as a tack" and unlikely to mishear or misrepresent information.

The controversy began in early August when Stewart, 85, told People magazine that she attended a dinner party in California where Markle, 45, was also present. Stewart claimed that Markle spoke about her recent visit to Highgrove to see King Charles. This account was reportedly at odds with a source close to Markle, who insisted that the Duchess did not discuss her UK trip and may have been confused with another guest, as she and Stewart were not seated near each other.

Stewart's initial comments to People described the encounter: "I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night. We were both guests at a dinner party in California. And she had just gotten back from the palace. I didn't talk to her really more than to say a couple words, but I know she was talking about it."

A source told The Mirror in response to Stewart's claims, "Meghan was asked by someone else about her European vacation and said it was nice, and that was the extent of it. I think she must have been confused."

This is not the first time Stewart has commented on Markle's public endeavors. In a July 2025 interview with Yahoo Lifestyle Australia, Stewart expressed hopes that Markle understood her subject matter for her cooking show, "With Love, Meghan." Stewart remarked, "Authenticity, to me, is everything, and to be authentic and knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important." She added, "Meghan, I don't really know very well, and I hope she knows what she's talking about."

Stewart also commented on Markle's transition from actress to royal and now to a television host in the homemaking space. "If you're an actress, it's hard to then transition to a princess and then from a princess into a homemaking guru on a television show. It doesn't sort of follow. So go from there," Stewart stated.

Reports indicated that Prince Harry had agreed not to speak publicly about his visit to King Charles and that no photographs would be shared. Markle's subsequent Instagram post featured family moments but did not include images from Highgrove. Megan Kelly is standing by Martha Stewart amid the homemaking mogul's apparent drama with Meghan Markle. Martha alleged that during the event, Meghan, who had recently returned home from a trip to England with her husband, Prince Harry and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, was openly 'talking about' her visit to Highgrove to see King Charles. In early August, Martha, 85, claimed during an interview with People that she had recently attended a dinner party in California that Meghan (seen in 2023), 45, was also present at. Megyn, 55, weighed in on the situation and came to Stewart's defense, stating: 'Martha doesn’t spew s**t'.
