The Duchess of Sussex spent a low-key weekend with a visit to a garden center, shortly after her guest appearance on MasterChef Australia aired. Meghan, 44, shared a photo of herself with a trolley full of flowers and a coffee cup, enjoying a quiet time in Montecito.

For the television appearance, which was filmed in April during the Sussexes' visit to Australia, Meghan donned a navy J-Crew jumper, Anine Bing jeans, and Veronica Beard loafers. She accessorized with sunglasses and a Dôen headband.

During the MasterChef Australia episode, Meghan described her husband Prince Harry as someone who enjoys "a real meat and potatoes" diet, though he can also appreciate a good curry. She noted her own preference for grilled fish, citrus, and spicy foods, contrasting it with Harry's inclination for richer, more traditional British fare. She remarked that their children are also adventurous eaters.

Meghan acted as a guest judge, with contestants tasked to create a dish "fit for a Duchess" using ingredients she selected, including honey, macadamia nuts, citrus, celeriac, and edible flowers. She offered encouragement to the contestants, emphasizing the importance of cooking from the heart and maintaining a sense of fun.

She expressed that food and cooking are significant ways she shows love and nurturing to her family. Meghan stated that her love for food and Australia were the primary reasons for her participation in the show. "It was an easy yes," she commented in a press release. Her guest spot coincided with news of a Daytime Emmy nomination for her Netflix cooking series, "With Love, Meghan."
