Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet may not accompany Prince Harry to London for his upcoming visit, according to reports. A source familiar with the situation indicated that concerns from the Duke of Sussex's security team and a lack of an updated Risk Management Board assessment are the likely reasons for this decision. This assessment, which was reportedly due in March, would have provided a more thorough understanding of the threats and risks to the family.

Despite the reports, the source stated that it is still possible for Markle and their children to join Prince Harry in London. The Duke of Sussex is scheduled to travel to England to promote the 2027 Invictus Games, which are slated to be held in Birmingham next year. Prince Harry has consistently traveled with his own security team when visiting the UK.

This potential absence marks a continuation of the family's pattern, as Prince Harry and Markle have not brought their children to England since 2022. The couple stepped away from their royal duties in 2020 and relocated to Montecito, California. Their last meeting with members of the British royal family, including Prince William, was at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.

Recent reports suggested that Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has been encouraging Prince William to meet with his estranged brother, Prince Harry, along with Markle and their children. Insiders indicated that Prince William was not initially planning to attend any such meeting but that circumstances could change. The Princess of Wales is reportedly keen to see her niece and nephew, Archie and Lilibet, as opportunities have been limited.

While Prince William's attendance remains uncertain, sources claimed that King Charles is hopeful for a reconciliation between the brothers and views Harry's visit as a potential first step toward repairing their relationship.
