Matt LeBlanc made a rare public appearance with his daughter, Marina, in Los Angeles this week. The 58-year-old actor, known for his role as Joey Tribbiani on the sitcom "Friends," was seen with his 22-year-old daughter in the Woodland Hills neighborhood.

LeBlanc, who recently shared a tribute to the late "Friends" director James Burrows, was dressed casually in denim jeans, a black short-sleeved shirt, sneakers, and a baseball cap. Marina wore patterned trousers, a plain shirt, and white sneakers, carrying a leather purse and a water bottle.

The father and daughter were observed strolling through a parking lot. LeBlanc has previously spoken about his close relationship with Marina, whom he shares with his ex-wife Melissa McKnight. The couple was married from 2003 to 2006.

Marina was diagnosed with cortical dysplasia before her first birthday. The condition occurs when cells in the cerebral cortex do not form properly before birth, potentially causing seizures and affecting mobility, according to the Cleveland Clinic. LeBlanc described learning of the diagnosis as a "very dark period" and stated that he barely left the house for years, feeling burnt out by the experience.

However, Marina eventually outgrew the condition. LeBlanc has also commented on his daughter's perspective of "Friends." In a 2017 appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," he mentioned that Marina "couldn't care less" about the show. By the following year, he shared that they would sometimes watch it if it appeared while channel surfing, with Marina asking questions about the show's events and his character's actions.

Last month, television director James Burrows, who helmed numerous episodes of "Friends" and co-created "Cheers," passed away at the age of 85. LeBlanc posted a tribute on Instagram, calling Burrows a "true icon" and expressing how much he would be missed.
