Actor Matt Damon recently revealed that his prominent Harvard University classmate was Ketanji Brown Jackson, an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. The revelation came during an interview with CBS Mornings, where Damon discussed his time at Harvard and shared that he and Jackson were once paired together in an acting class.

Jackson, who has also performed on Broadway, recalled the connection in a February interview, noting that Damon was already well-known when they were classmates. She quipped that whenever she sees him on television, she exclaims, "I know that guy!" Damon expressed his own surprise and excitement upon hearing Jackson's remarks, stating, "I can't believe she would say, 'I know that guy,' when it's like, she's a Supreme Court justice. It's amazing."

He further recounted telling his daughters about his connection to Jackson after she was sworn into office in 2022. "And then I ran around and I'm telling my kids, I'm like, 'You know who I did a scene with?'" Damon said.

During the same interview, when asked about other notable classmates, Damon recalled that his close friend Ben Affleck also joined them for class. He mentioned that he and Affleck workshopped an early version of the screenplay for their Oscar-winning film "Good Will Hunting" in that same acting class.

Damon, who grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, attended Harvard University, graduating in 1992. He majored in English and studied at the university for three years before pursuing his acting career in Hollywood. He and Affleck later won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay for "Good Will Hunting" in 1998.

The news of their shared past has generated significant reactions from fans online, with many expressing astonishment and delight at the unexpected connection between the actor and the Supreme Court justice.
