A Massachusetts man, known for his mime persona, is accused of repeatedly terrorizing women at a state park for months. Hernan Villagran Lux, 29, of Framingham, faces criminal harassment charges following allegations from three female employees of the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) at a Natick state park near Boston.

Prosecutors stated that the women knew Lux by name and appearance, with one reporting over 50 encounters that escalated over time, leading to fear among the employees. Authorities arrested Lux on the Cochituate Rail Trail on Sunday night after multiple women and park workers reported that he repeatedly approached them, stared unnervingly, and refused to leave when asked.

During a court hearing Monday, Framingham District Court Supervisor Andrew Mange detailed the allegations. He said the women described the defendant’s stares and smiles as "really unnerving and frankly terrifying." In one incident, Lux allegedly stripped down to his underwear, coated himself in cooking oil, and began exercising near the staff area. He also reportedly complimented an employee’s appearance and commented on her lips, refusing to leave even as she and her colleagues vacated their workspace due to feeling unsafe.

Social media posts from several Massachusetts communities indicated that people recognized Lux and claimed he had approached or followed women on the nearby rail trail. One neighbor, Nancy Dlott, told Boston 25 News that seeing him dressed in a costume initially seemed odd but was upsetting, especially when walking alone.

As prosecutors read the allegations in court, Lux fainted and received medical treatment before proceedings resumed. The judge subsequently ordered Lux to undergo a mental health evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital. The allegations have sparked discussions online, with residents expressing concern and hoping Lux receives the necessary help.
