Restaurateur Mario Carbone and brand strategist Cait Bailey celebrated their wedding with a lavish reception at Major Food Group’s The Grill and The Pool, located in New York City's Seagram Building. The event drew a notable guest list, including Lea Michele, Ashley Benson, and Ashley Graham.
Shay Mitchell, who reportedly introduced the couple in 2018, was present to toast the newlyweds. The celebration continued at The Pool, where singer Benson Boone performed for the guests. "Wild Ones" singer Jessie Murph also took the stage, followed by a DJ set from Sofi Tukker.
A source described the food as outstanding, a characteristic expected from Carbone, who co-owns several sought-after dining establishments, including ZZ’s Club, Ludlow Hotel, Dirty French, and Torrisi. The reception featured ample pasta, a large seafood station, a dessert spread, and a nine-tiered wedding cake.
Following the main event, guests moved to Lobster Club, another Major Food Group venue, to continue the festivities until after 1 a.m.
Carbone and Bailey became engaged on July 14, 2024, in Capri, Italy. Their engagement was first reported in September after Bailey was seen wearing a prominent ring during Fashion Week. The couple held a wedding celebration in Palermo, Sicily, on August 1, and subsequently had a civil ceremony in Miami.
