Maria Bartiromo is no longer with Fox News Media, the company confirmed Thursday.
"Effective today, Maria Bartiromo is no longer with Fox News Media," the company said in a statement. "We thank Maria for her work over the last 12-and-a-half years and wish her all the best on her next chapter."
The final broadcast of "Mornings with Maria," Bartiromo's weekday program on the Fox Business Network, aired Thursday morning. The show will be succeeded by "Mornings with FOX Business," which will feature rotating anchors starting Friday.
Similarly, her weekly program "Maria Bartiromo's Wall Street" will be retitled "FBN's Wall Street." Cheryl Casone is scheduled to host this week, followed by other rotating anchors.
Bartiromo also hosted Fox News Channel's "Sunday Morning Futures." Jason Chaffetz is slated to host the program this Sunday, and Fox News stated that a permanent replacement will be announced later.
Fox Business is planning to introduce a new weekday programming schedule in the upcoming weeks. Fox News and Fox Business are both subsidiaries of Fox Corp, which is affiliated with News Corp.
