Manchester United manager Eva Olid is seeking recommendations as she prepares to explore the city of Manchester for the first time during the upcoming international break.

Olid arrived at Manchester United as a relatively unknown quantity in English football, despite her success in the Scottish Women's Premier League. Her initial period with the team was challenging, marked by losses to London City Lionesses and Chelsea in the Women's Super League. During these early matches, the team struggled offensively, managing only two shots on target.

A draw against Arsenal showed signs of improvement, and the team has since secured four consecutive wins across the Women's Super League and League Cup, scoring 18 goals. Olid suggested that her tactical philosophy is beginning to resonate with the players, although she believes there is still room for improvement.

"We have started to click in a lot of things and they fight for each other," Olid stated. "But there is still a lot to improve. We created chances, but our last pass and our finishing needs to be better. That will come."

Liverpool counterpart Gareth Taylor, however, offered a different perspective on Manchester United's recent performance. He noted that Olid's team was "very direct" and that his side fell into their tactical approach. Taylor observed that Manchester United's goalkeeper was "literally kicking out of her hands" and that his team needed to be "braver."

"We have got to be braver and there are lessons to learn," Taylor commented. "This was the first time where we have not been a good reflection of ourselves."
