A man has died on board a Malaysia Airlines flight en route to Sydney after reportedly suffering an asthma attack on Wednesday. The flight, MH141, departed Kuala Lumpur in the morning and arrived at Sydney Airport at 7:40 p.m. local time.
The passenger, an Indian national in his 70s, is understood to have experienced an asthma attack during the eight-hour journey and subsequently died. New South Wales Police have confirmed they are not investigating the incident. A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance stated that paramedics were on standby and attended the plane promptly after its arrival at the Mascot-based airport.
Malaysia Airlines and Sydney Airport have been contacted for comment regarding the incident.
