Giles Richards, who described himself as "never been a runner," has completed a month-long challenge of running 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) each day to fund a stranger's dream holiday to Australia. Richards has so far raised more than £4,600.

The recipient of his efforts, Ewan, expressed her excitement about the prospect of seeing koala bears in person. She joined Richards for the final segment of his challenge in Yeovil.

Richards stated that while the daily distance was manageable, the accumulation over time, especially during hot weather, presented a challenge. Despite minor calf and Achilles discomfort, he viewed his physical strain as minimal compared to others facing more significant difficulties. He acknowledged the generosity of many people who contributed to his fundraising goal. The endeavor was undertaken to fulfill Ewan's dream trip.
