A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the unexplained death of Hannah Fry, a 29-year-old mother of two. Fry became unwell at her home in Longridge, Lancashire, on July 13 and was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Lancashire Constabulary has stated that the investigation into the circumstances of her death is ongoing.
The man initially arrested was taken into custody on suspicion of coercive and controlling behavior. He was subsequently re-arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He has since been released on bail with conditions as inquiries continue. A second man, aged 23, was also arrested in relation to the initial report that prompted police attendance.
Fry's parents described their daughter as their "beautiful and only daughter, the light of our lives and the love in our hearts and souls." They characterized her as a devoted mother, a cherished family member, and a loyal friend. In their statement, they highlighted her vibrant personality, sense of humor, and ability to brighten any room. They also noted her capacity for love, kindness, compassion, and loyalty.
Lancashire Constabulary has urged the public to be mindful of those affected by Fry's death and to refrain from speculation that could cause further distress to her family.
