Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide's premier event, Triplemania 34, is set to make its U.S. debut with its first night held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday. The second night will take place in Mexico City on Sunday. The event will feature a mix of AAA's regular talent alongside several WWE stars.

WWE commentator Corey Graves, who also provides commentary for AAA, described the Lucha Libre style to OutKick as having a vibrant and colorful nature, likening it to the exhibition baseball team, the Savannah Bananas. Graves explained that while professional wrestling in Mexico shares similarities with WWE, it possesses a unique cultural essence. He noted the bright colors, incredible action, and distinct characters as key elements that set it apart.

"It's about moments. It's about memories," Graves said. "It's less about statistics and long-term records, etc. But it's about being there and just enjoying what's happening." He added that AAA has become an event that fans want to be a part of, even if they don't fully understand the intricacies of Lucha Libre's history.

Graves also highlighted the demand for the event, mentioning that it was initially slated for a smaller venue, the Luxor Hotel, but was moved to the MGM Grand Garden Arena due to capacity needs. This, he suggested, indicates a growing interest from both the Latino population in Las Vegas and a broader English-speaking audience.

"It's available for free every Saturday night on YouTube if you're in the United States or around most of the globe," Graves noted, emphasizing the visual appeal of Lucha Libre, which he believes can captivate viewers even without understanding the commentary. "You can put it on mute and you can just watch and be captivated by the masks and the costumes and there's so much pageantry in Lucha."

Triplemania 34's Night 1 card includes a significant match between AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio and Omos. The outcome of this bout will determine Omos's future in AAA, with a win welcoming him back and a loss resulting in his permanent exclusion. Dominik Mysterio will be in Omos's corner, while El Grande Americano will support Rey Mysterio.

Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano are also scheduled to compete on Night 2, where Mysterio will defend his AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano.

The event's schedule also includes several other matches for both nights, featuring championships like the AAA World Trios Championship, AAA Latin American Championship, AAA World Cruiserweight Championship, and AAA Reinas de Reinas Championship, as well as an elimination tag team match and a 15-man Copa Bardahl.

Both nights of Triplemania 34 will be available to watch on YouTube.
