Kai Fagan, winner of Love Island, has resigned from his teaching position to dedicate himself fully to a new business venture with his wife, Sanam. The couple, who met on the ITV show in March 2023, recently launched their fitness facility, Fagan's Fitness, in Milton Keynes.

Fagan, 28, announced his decision on Instagram, explaining that while teaching has been a significant part of his life, he wanted to pursue his long-standing passion for health and fitness. He holds degrees in sport and exercise science and human nutrition. "I realised I just couldn't give 100% to it, and something had to go," Fagan stated regarding the challenge of balancing both professions.

Fagan emphasized that his departure from teaching is not a permanent farewell but a step to challenge himself in a new direction. He expressed his continued respect for the education profession and advocated for its importance. "This isn't a goodbye forever to teaching," he said, "I'll always be the biggest advocate for education and have nothing but respect for anybody in the profession."

Fagan's Fitness aims to help individuals engage with exercise through signature classes, a six-week results training program, or one-to-one personal training. The facility is open Monday through Saturday. The couple began teasing the launch of their business on social media in May, revealing the fitness facility on June 19.

Kai and Sanam married in August 2025. Despite their reality television fame, they maintained a private wedding, inviting only one fellow Islander, Ron Hall, and a close group of 60 guests. Fagan noted the event was filled with a strong sense of love and close relationships.
