Lori Loughlin has filed for divorce from her husband of over 28 years, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli. The dissolution of their marriage comes after news of their separation first surfaced last October.

In the divorce filing, Loughlin listed August 31, 2025, as the date of separation and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending their union. Legal documents indicate that a financial support agreement will be negotiated at a future date. The couple entered into a prenuptial agreement on October 28, 1997, and filed an amendment to it on August 11, 2015.

Loughlin and Giannulli, who share daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, famously served overlapping prison sentences for their roles in the 2019 college admissions scandal. They were accused of bribing officials to falsely secure their daughters' admission to the University of Southern California by posing them as athletic recruits.

Loughlin served two months in federal prison and was released in December 2020. Giannulli completed a five-month sentence and was released in April 2021. Following her release, Loughlin addressed the scandal in a 2024 episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," parodying her own experience.

The couple eloped two days before Thanksgiving in 1997. Loughlin, known for her role in "Full House," concluded her run on the sitcom two years prior to their marriage.

News of the separation emerged shortly after Loughlin was seen with actor James Tupper. On the day Giannulli's split from Loughlin became public, he was seen with stylist Hannah Harrison, who clarified that their interaction was strictly platonic and for work-related purposes.
