Influencer and boxer Logan Paul has placed his remote Mountain Center, California, property, known historically as the "LSD ranch," on the market for just under $3 million. Paul acquired the compound in 2019 for $1 million, approximately 50 years after counterculture figure Timothy Leary used it as his base of operations.

Leary, a former Harvard professor and proponent of psychedelic drugs, allegedly produced the LSD strain "Orange Sunshine" at the ranch during the late 1960s. At that time, the property was occupied by Leary and his followers, the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. The original listing described the compound as growing to include 30 members, a main ranch house, several outbuildings, and teepees. In 1972, federal agents raided the compound, reportedly finding Leary on the premises.

Property Renovations and Features

The property, now listed as Fobes Ranch, has undergone significant upgrades since Paul and his brother, Jake Paul, acquired it. While the primary residence originally had two bedrooms, it has been expanded to four bedrooms. The listing includes most of the furnishings, ranch vehicles, and equipment.

The 78-acre spread features a caretaker's home, a bunkhouse, a horse barn, a greenhouse, a gymnasium, garages, sheds, and a 300-yard shooting range. The property is equipped for off-grid living with solar power, batteries, a propane backup tank, and a gravity-fed water system.

Although the Paul brothers did not use the property as a working ranch, it is outfitted for such a purpose, with expansive acreage suitable for cattle grazing, a seasonally full pond, and extensive trails. The listing notes the possibilities for outdoor activities such as horseback riding, dirt biking, four-wheeling, hiking, and wildlife watching.

The ranch is situated an hour's drive from Palm Springs Airport and is approximately 25 minutes from the nearest town, Idyllwild. Access to the property is via a secluded four-mile drive off Highway 74, with no other residences along the route. The Fobes Ranch is surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest.

In 2021, Paul relocated to Puerto Rico, citing the island's boxing training facilities and favorable tax policies as reasons for his move.
