Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin are anticipating the arrival of grandchildren, revealing their desire to become grandparents during an appearance at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards. When asked by E! News correspondent Justin Sylvester about their readiness for a baby in the family, Hamlin responded, "Wouldn't that be amazing?" He added, "Look, their careers are on fire. They got a little more time out there with their careers, but I'm looking forward to a grand kid, for sure." Rinna echoed his sentiment, gushing, "Me too! For sure!"
Sylvester playfully dubbed them "the hottest grandparents in Hollywood," while also complimenting them as "the hottest couple here!"
The long-married couple, together for nearly 30 years, walked the red carpet hand-in-hand. Rinna donned a shimmering black gown, while Hamlin wore a classic tuxedo with a bow tie. They were among the many television industry figures gathered at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles for the 78th annual event.
Mariska Hargitay, executive producer and star of "Law & Order: SVU," hosted the ceremony. The nominations, announced in July, notably included snubs for Sydney Sweeney of "Euphoria," Jeremy Allen White of "The Bear," and the series "Stranger Things."
"The Pitt" led the nominations with 25 nods, a significant increase from its 13 nominations the previous year. The HBO Max medical drama received 13 acting nominations, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Noah Wyle, and a nomination for Outstanding Drama. "Hacks," another HBO Max series, followed with 24 nominations for its fifth and final season, setting a record for a comedy series. Jean Smart is in contention for her eighth Emmy win, which would tie her for the most Emmy acting wins by an actress.
Newcomer "Widow's Bay," an Apple TV comedy horror series, garnered 19 nominations, while the streamer's drama "Pluribus" received 18. In the limited/anthology series categories, Netflix's "Beef" secured 16 nominations for its second season.
