Lindy Klim has voiced her dissatisfaction on social media regarding her ex-husband Michael Klim's holiday arrangements during the recent school break. Lindy, a model, claimed on Instagram that Michael did not adhere to their custody schedule, opting to travel to Bali while she managed their three children.
"It wasn't the plan to have the kids over the school holidays, but things changed when their dad didn't pick them up for his custody time and went to Bali instead," Lindy wrote in her post. She added that although she had not planned extensive activities, the time in Melbourne with her children became enjoyable. Her son Rocco marked several milestones, including getting his first car, obtaining his driver's license, completing a swim course, and starting his first coaching job. Lindy and her daughters also spent time in the country and explored Melbourne.
Further elaborating in the comments, Lindy mentioned that Michael had offered to take the children to Bali with him, but they expressed a desire to remain in Australia. She highlighted her frustration that Michael traveled despite the holidays being designated as his time with the children, stating, "Imagine the luxury of just doing what you want."
Lindy also discussed the financial challenges of entertaining children during holidays, noting the constant demand for food and increased laundry. She mentioned having to cancel her own trips or use credit cards to fund travel with her children.
Michael Klim, an Olympic gold medalist, married Lindy in April 2006 and they separated in February 2016. They share three children: Stella, 19, Rocco, 17, and Frankie, 14.
Lindy Klim is currently engaged to Paul Mullert, and Michael Klim is engaged to Michelle Owen. Lindy lived in Bali for 14 years before returning to Australia with her children last year. She recently began a relationship with businessman Paul, which she debuted at a LIV Golf tournament in Adelaide. Lindy described Paul as a "normal, nice guy" and mentioned they met through his sister, who lives in Bali.
