Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 40th birthday with a gathering in the Hamptons, where she was joined by her father, Michael Lohan Sr., and other family members. The reunion marks a significant moment given their historically difficult relationship.

The celebration, held at Le Bilboquet restaurant in Sag Harbor, New York, was shared on Instagram Stories by Lohan and her friends. Her mother, Dina Lohan, and siblings Michael Jr., Ali, and Dakota were also in attendance, along with her husband, Bader Shammas, and their son. Lohan, who resides in Dubai with her family, expressed gratitude to her guests, acknowledging the various stages of her life and the people who have supported her journey.

"Every one of you has helped shape the person that I am today," Lohan reportedly told partygoers. She reflected on her life's chapters, the challenges she has overcome, and her personal growth.

This reconciliation with her father comes after a period of estrangement. Michael Lohan Sr. had experienced several health issues in the months leading up to the celebration, including a heart artery blockage that required surgery. In a social media post prior to her birthday, she shared her appreciation for life's experiences, calling her 30s a period where "things start clicking." She emphasized the value of time and the importance of nurturing oneself, lessons she attributes in part to her husband. The movie actress said in her post that she was grateful for the 'lessons' she has learned in life

"I think this next decade feels different. More grounded. More intentional. More joyful," Lohan stated, reflecting on her evolving perspective as she moves forward. This next decade feels different. More grounded. More intentional. More joyful,' she added

Professionally, Lohan has seen a resurgence in her career, with recent roles in Christmas films and an upcoming "Freaky Friday" sequel. She is currently filming "Count My Lies" alongside Shailene Woodley.
