The jury in the trial of Lindsay Clancy, who is accused of killing her three young children in January 2023, has begun deliberations. The case has now moved to its final stages in Plymouth Superior Court.

During the closing arguments, defense attorney Kevin Reddington presented the jury with two photographs: one of a smiling Clancy family and another of Lindsay Clancy in a hospital bed after a suicide attempt. Reddington argued that Clancy had repeatedly sought medical assistance but was allegedly overmedicated and misdiagnosed.

He accused the prosecution of exacerbating Clancy’s suffering by questioning the seriousness of her suicide attempt and her mental state. Reddington also emphasized evidence and testimony presented to portray Clancy as a devoted mother, suggesting a lack of motive for the killings. "This young lady did nothing wrong in her life. She was a nurse, a daughter, a wife, and a darn good mother," Reddington stated in his closing remarks.
