A state police investigator testified Thursday that Lindsay Clancy's phone was used to search the question "Can you treat a sociopath?" on January 20, 2023, four days before she killed her three young children. Clancy has pleaded not guilty to three murder charges in the deaths of her 5-year-old daughter Cora, 3-year-old son Dawson, and infant son Callan. The incident occurred at the family's home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, on January 24, 2023.
Defense lawyers for Clancy have not disputed that she was responsible for her children's deaths. However, they are arguing that she should not be held criminally responsible due to suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time of the killings. The trial is ongoing.
