Jurors in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy are scheduled to visit the Duxbury home where prosecutors allege she strangled her three children and then attempted to take her own life. The panel of 18 jurors will tour the Clancy family residence and visit a nearby CVS and takeout restaurant that her husband, Patrick Clancy, stopped at on the night of the killings.

Clancy, 35, is accused of strangling her five-year-old daughter Cora, three-year-old son Dawson, and eight-month-old son Callan with exercise bands in their home on January 24, 2023. She has pleaded not guilty, with her defense citing postpartum psychosis as a factor. The prosecution contends the killings were premeditated and deliberate.

The jury's visit to the roughly $800,000 home, which is now owned by a local attorney, was ordered by the judge despite objections that the property may not appear as it did at the time of the incident. Jurors will be permitted to view the exterior, including the backyard where Clancy was found injured, as well as all interior rooms on the first and second floors, including the bedroom from which she allegedly jumped. They will also enter the basement where the children were allegedly strangled.

Clancy had been prescribed 13 different psychiatric medications in the months leading up to the tragedy. Her ex-husband has since filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against the clinicians who treated her.

Following the site visit, testimony is expected to resume in Plymouth County Superior Court. The court anticipates hearing from staff at South Shore Hospital, where Clancy was transported after her alleged suicide attempt. During earlier proceedings, a 911 call placed by Patrick Clancy was played in court, which reportedly caused distress among those present, including jurors. In the call, Patrick Clancy can be heard expressing shock and disbelief, stating, "She killed the kids."
