Lena Dunham has broken her silence following reports that she delivered a crude joke comparing American football to "gay porn" at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding. The actress, 40, took to Instagram on Sunday to offer her services for future celebrations.
"Available going forward for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and sweet sixteens (gay ones). I love both my husbands and I love love," Dunham posted, accompanying the caption with a slideshow of photos from the wedding weekend. The post, however, did not directly address the reported speech.
Dunham was among approximately 1,000 guests invited to the nuptials, which were held at Madison Square Garden. While guests reportedly signed non-disclosure agreements, Dunham's social media activity offered glimpses into the event. Photos showed her with friends, including actor Andrew Scott and novelist Zadie Smith, and at the rehearsal dinner with her husband, Luis Felber.
Swift and Kelce exchanged vows on Friday. The couple began dating after Kelce attended Swift's Eras Tour concert in Kansas City on July 8, 2023, where he attempted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number. Swift and Dunham have been friends for years, with Dunham attending Swift's wedding to Luis Felber in London in 2021.
Travis Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, described the wedding as "magical" when speaking about the event. Both Swift and Kelce were dressed in Christian Dior for the ceremony. Taylor's brother, Austin, served as her "man of honor," while Travis's brother, Jason, was the best man.
