Lauren Silverman, partner of music mogul Simon Cowell, has shared a video highlighting her warm connection with her eldest son Adam's girlfriend, Sydney Arrandt. The clip, posted from the family's Malibu residence, shows Silverman and Arrandt, both 21, applying makeup together as they get ready for a night out.

Silverman, 49, expressed her affection for Arrandt, who met Adam at the University of Miami. In her caption, Silverman referred to Arrandt's aunt as her "all-time makeup artist icon" and praised her for building a "beauty empire." The resemblance between Silverman and Arrandt was noted by her followers, with one commenting that Arrandt is a "mini you."

Adam and Sydney are both students at the University of Miami. Sydney has documented her college life on TikTok, including cheerleading for the Miami Hurricanes football team and visiting Adam and his family in London. Silverman has also spoken about her frequent visits to Miami, noting that the Florida college's proximity to her own family makes it a convenient choice for visits.

"It’s very hard living in another country so far away from my entire family," Silverman, whose primary residence is in London with Cowell and their 12-year-old son Eric, stated earlier this year. "Luckily Adam chose UM for university so I get to visit him AND see everyone else too."

Silverman, who now goes by Lauren Cowell, previously discussed the challenges of her personal life in a podcast interview. She reflected on the period following her affair with Cowell, which began while she was married to her ex-husband Andrew Silverman. The subsequent end of her marriage and public scrutiny were described as "one of the hardest times of my life."

She also shared her emotional experience of becoming a mother to Eric, noting Cowell's significant reaction to their son's birth. "Simon was so emotional and I just remember... thinking in that moment, god your life is about to change and you have no idea what's about to happen to you," she recalled. "And I think, you know, becoming a father completely changed his life."

Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman have chosen to keep their son Adam off social media, with Silverman advocating for increased internet safety measures for children.
