Television personality Lauren Goodger has revealed her desire to have another child following the death of her newborn daughter and two miscarriages. In an upcoming scene from the show TOWIE, Goodger became emotional at a mother's blessing ceremony.

Goodger, 39, gave birth to her second daughter in July 2022. The infant died minutes after birth due to complications with her umbilical cord. She also has a four-year-old daughter, Larose, with ex-partner Charlie Drury.

Following the death of her daughter Lorena, Goodger experienced two miscarriages. She spoke about these events in her new book, "Mum Of Two: Love, Loss and My Life on TOWIE." The book details her experiences after her loss and her relationship with Drury, which she described as a "trauma bond."

"Just five days after Lorena died he woke up and told me he didn't love me anymore. It was horrendous," Goodger stated, describing the period after her daughter's death. She also shared that she suffered from panic attacks and suicidal thoughts, indicating that her daughter Larose was her primary reason for continuing.

Goodger and Drury ultimately separated for good in 2024, and she has since stated that they are no longer in a "toxic place" and now co-parent their daughter. She added that she would like another baby in the future and would consider using a sperm donor or adoption if she were single.

The circumstances surrounding Lorena's death involved a home birth where a midwife initially could not detect a heartbeat. After further tests confirmed a heartbeat, it disappeared during labor, leading to Goodger being rushed to the hospital. Despite efforts by medical professionals, the baby could not be saved.

Goodger has also addressed her relationship with Drury, stating that family holidays are undertaken for the sake of their daughter Larose. Although they have had a turbulent relationship, they have been pictured on family getaways. Sources had previously suggested concerns that Goodger was planning a future with Drury, though he reportedly joined a dating app earlier this year.

In February, Goodger announced the release of her book, aiming to help others by sharing her story of loss and grief. She expressed that there was a lack of resources available to her during her most difficult times after losing her baby and hopes her book provides support for others facing similar experiences.
