Professional wrestling star Lady Frost has reacted positively to Tessa Blanchard’s recent signing with Major League Wrestling (MLW), stating that the move is "good for business" and will benefit the promotion’s women’s division.

Blanchard, a third-generation wrestler and decorated competitor, officially joined MLW earlier this week. Lady Frost, who signed with MLW in April 2026, expressed her enthusiasm for Blanchard’s arrival in an interview with OutKick Dropkick.

"First of all, it’s an incredible signing," Lady Frost said. "We understand the pedigree that comes with Tessa Blanchard and you’ve heard high tides raise all ships. And I think everyone is going to want to up their game even more."

Lady Frost noted her prior experience with Blanchard, stating, "I’ve been in the ring with Tessa. I’ve done tours in Mexico and it’s good for business."

MLW announced that Blanchard will make her debut at the Fightland event on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina. Blanchard herself commented on the signing, stating in a news release, "Heavy is the crown, but legacy isn't handed to you... it’s forged under pressure. I’ve earned my place as one of the best in the world at what I do, but I’m not coming to MLW to rest on the Blanchard name."

Blanchard, daughter of wrestler Tully Blanchard and granddaughter of promoter Joe Blanchard, is also stepdaughter to Magnum T.A. She is set to join a women's division that Lady Frost described as "stacked."

When asked about ranking MLW's women's division against others in professional wrestling, Lady Frost declined to rank them, preferring to focus on performance. "I don't do rankings. That's not my department. I do the fighting," she told OutKick Dropkick. "I get in there and I do my job and it's for the fans to decide."

Lady Frost is scheduled to compete against Corinne Joy on Saturday at MLW’s Kings of Colosseum event. The matches will be available on YouTube, beIN Sports, and Veeps.
