Kylie Kelce shared that her sister-in-law, pop superstar Taylor Swift, has become a notable influence on her four daughters, particularly in fostering their affection for cats. Kelce made these remarks during the August 20 episode of her podcast, "Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce."
During her conversation with comedian Leslie Mann, Kelce discussed her efforts to convince her husband, former NFL player Jason Kelce, to adopt a cat. She explained that while she grew up in a household with both cats and dogs, her daughters are now exposed to cats through Swift, who is a well-known cat enthusiast.
"Our kids have influences in their life - Aunt Taylor's a big one - where they get to be around cats, and then we go home, and there are no cats, and they're like, 'We want cats,'" Kelce said on the podcast. She added that her daughters often choose cat-related items as rewards or special treats.
Kylie and Jason Kelce are parents to four daughters: Wyatt, six; Ellie, five; Bennett, three; and Finn, 16 months. Swift, who is married to Jason's brother, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, owns three cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.
In July, Swift and Travis Kelce were married at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Jason Kelce served as Travis's best man, and his four daughters were flower girls at the wedding. Kylie Kelce noted on a previous podcast episode that Jason was moved to tears watching their daughters participate in the ceremony. The wedding ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, and Swift's brother, Austin Swift, acted as her "man of honor."
