Kyle Sandilands is set to launch a new at-home documentary series, "At Home With Kyle," which will document the behind-the-scenes turmoil and chaos of his life following his March axing from KIIS FM. The miniseries, comprising approximately six episodes, is being produced by Sandilands' own production company and will be released on his personal platforms.
The documentary coincides with the upcoming release of Sandilands' streaming show, "Kyle Sandilands Live," scheduled for August. Filming for the docuseries began the morning after Sandilands was suspended by the Australian Radio Network (ARN).
Sandilands' manager, Bruno Bouchet, stated that the series will showcase a different side of the media personality, describing it as a "very different side to Kyle," where he appears more humble and focused on family. The documentary will also touch upon his experiences dealing with a death threat and confronting a significant life upheaval.
Earlier in July, Sandilands was observed with a film crew at his Vaucluse mansion, documenting his new series. The production is reportedly capturing footage and interviews from the period during and after his public legal dispute with ARN. Sandilands has been seen in his characteristic all-black attire, welcoming the production crew into his home.
The team members were seen carrying equipment and wearing jumpers with the logo of Sandilands' latest venture, "Kyle Sandilands Live." This subscription-based show is slated for an early August release and promises an ad-free and uncensored experience with an ensemble cast.
The announcement follows Sandilands' settlement of his legal dispute with ARN, where he agreed to receive $12.09 million of the initial $85 million he sought. Furthermore, Sandilands has registered domain names, including 'kyleandkarl.com.au' and 'karlandkyle.com.au,' for himself and recently axed "Today" host Karl Stefanovic. These registrations, made through his company King Kyle Group Pty Ltd, hint at a potential collaboration between the two media personalities. Similar domain registrations in 2024 for 'themorningmen.com.au' and 'morningmen.com.au' also suggest a possible partnership.
Sandilands' departure from KIIS FM followed an on-air argument with his former co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson regarding astrology, which led to the cancellation of "The Kyle & Jackie O Show" and subsequent legal proceedings with ARN. Sandilands has reportedly maintained close contact with Stefanovic since Stefanovic's departure from Channel Nine last month.
