Kristin Cavallari has revealed that she separates her children from herself during flights, seating them in coach while she occupies a first-class seat.

Cavallari, 39, explained her parenting approach during a recent appearance on Aspire with Emma Grede. She stated that her three children – Camden, 13, Jaxon, 12, and Saylor, 10 – are growing up in a privileged environment, and she wants them to understand that the family's wealth is a result of her own earnings.

"They are growing up in a very fortunate situation and I want them to know this is my money. This is not your money," Cavallari said. "And you know, something as small as they fly coach [while] I'm flying in first class. That was important to me when they became old enough."

Cavallari, founder of Uncommon James with an estimated net worth of $30 million, clarified that she used to sit with her children when they were younger, recalling instances of trying to prevent them from fighting during flights. However, she now believes that the separation is beneficial for them.

"But now, they'll be fine. Yeah, and it's good for them. And I think it's little things like that as a parent that make ultimately I think a big difference in the long run," she added.

This parenting choice comes after Jessica Simpson faced backlash for a similar decision. Cavallari's comments address the public's reaction to such choices made by celebrities.
