Jimmy Kimmel suggested on Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s decision to ban three news organizations from the White House is backfiring.
Trump last week banned CNN, MS NOW, and Politico. In response, the White House TV pool suspended coverage in protest. Kimmel stated this action "has to drive Trump even crazier than he already is."
“There’s nothing this man loves more than being on television,” Kimmel said. “And right now, thanks to his own dumb actions, the only camera at the White House is the Ring camera Melania had mounted on her bedroom door to keep him out of it.”
Kimmel also commented on Trump’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly, describing it as a “rough, threatening, ugly ramble” delivered to world leaders. During the speech, Trump struggled to pronounce the name of Kazakhstan, referring to it as “Kazakastan” twice. Kimmel quipped, “Thank you, President Borat.”
