Kimberly Wyatt, 44, has revealed the rigorous diet and fitness regimen she follows to prepare for the upcoming Pussycat Dolls reunion tour, alongside details of a secret hip replacement surgery. Wyatt, who first gained fame in 2003 as a member of the pop group, is balancing her tour preparations with a role as a DJ, founding a dance academy, and raising three children.

Wyatt told the Daily Mail that she is more conscious of her food intake as she has gotten older. Her daily routine includes starting the day with water and focusing on nutrient-dense foods. For breakfast, she typically opts for yogurt, granola, honey, and blueberries. Watermelon serves as a common snack. Her preferred lunch is a caprese salad, often prepared with prosciutto, avocado, tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, almond shavings, balsamic vinegar, and oil.

For dinner, Wyatt's approach is more relaxed, often centering around meals suitable for her children, such as spaghetti, fish fingers, or chicken and chips. Barbecue meals are also a frequent choice during warmer months. She also grows some of her own produce, including chili plants, zucchini, and pumpkins, emphasizing the benefits of eating seasonally.

A strict rule for Wyatt is not eating anything after 7 p.m.

Fitness and Recovery

Wyatt's fitness routine is intense, especially as she rehearses for the Pussycat Dolls tour, which involves eight to ten hours of dancing daily. Beyond rehearsals, her workouts include High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), weightlifting to maintain muscle suppleness, cycling, and playing football with her children. Dance, in its various forms like jazz, street, and ballet, remains her primary go-to activity. Her own Kimberly Wyatt Dance Academy in Surrey offers training in multiple dance styles to approximately 300 students.

In 2024, Wyatt underwent a hip replacement, a procedure she kept private for over two years until June of this year. She expressed relief and satisfaction with the surgery, noting that it has significantly improved her mobility and quality of life, allowing her to sleep and walk normally again. Wyatt mentioned finding a supportive community among others who have had hip replacements and cited Andy Murray as an inspiration for returning to sport after the procedure.

She admitted to initial fears about how the surgery would affect her mobility and her ability to perform with the Pussycat Dolls. However, she now views the experience as part of embracing life's challenges and celebrating personal progress.

Balancing Priorities

Wyatt is preparing for the Pussycat Dolls PCD Forever Tour, which is scheduled to begin on September 9 in Denmark and conclude in London on October 13. She described her approach to managing her career, family life, and tour preparations as a balancing act. This involves journaling, prioritizing time with her children, and maintaining a present and focused mindset. She views the tour as an opportunity to demonstrate to her children the integration of her roles as a mother and a performer.

Wyatt stressed the importance of maintaining enthusiasm and practicing gratitude daily to manage the pressure of world tours. She aims to stay balanced and mindful, shifting her priorities to family when her career demands too much attention.

Cat Vocal Competition

In a separate endeavor, Wyatt has joined a five-person judging panel for a nationwide competition launched by the fresh cat food brand Marro. The contest seeks to find the cat with a meow that most closely resembles the sound 'Marro,' with a £10,000 prize for the winner. Cat owners can submit entries via Instagram or TikTok using the hashtag #MeowForMarro until September 6. Wyatt stated her excitement to judge the feline vocal talents, comparing it to her own experience with vocal presence and stage charisma.
