Kroy Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of reality television personality Kim Zolciak, is seeking release from jail while facing charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. His attorney filed a motion Wednesday in the Superior Court of Fulton County requesting a bond hearing for his client, who has been detained at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center in Atlanta since his Aug. 17 arrest.
In the filing, the attorney highlighted Biermann's "good character," academic achievements, and accomplishments as a football player, noting that he has received scholarship offers. The document also emphasized his strong ties to his family and community, stating that he maintains a home and relationship with both Zolciak and his father, Kroy Biermann Sr. He has five siblings and is supported by an extended network of family, friends, coaches, and teachers.
The attorney argued that these connections provide structure, supervision, and accountability, offering compelling reasons for Biermann to remain in the community and comply with court conditions. The court documents were obtained by Page Six on Thursday.
