"My sweet MJ," Kardashian, 42, wrote in the caption. "Thank you for showing us that life is meant to be celebrated, that laughter is healing, and that love is the greatest legacy we can leave behind. You lived so fully, so gracefully, and so beautifully."
Kardashian, mother to daughter True and son Tatum, expressed her gratitude that her children had the opportunity to know their great-grandmother. "One of my greatest blessings will always be that my children knew their great-grandmother," she stated. "They experienced your hugs, your stories, your joy, and the incredible light you carried so effortlessly."
She reflected on the life lessons imparted by her grandmother, whose death was first announced by Kris Jenner on Thursday. "You taught us that love never leaves," Kardashian said.
