Kelly Osbourne has announced she has permanently severed ties with her older sister, Aimee Osbourne, stating they are "polar opposites." Osbourne made the revelation on the "We Need to Talk" podcast, explaining that Aimee had not been actively present in her and their brother Jack's lives.

"If I’m honest, my older sister didn’t really ever acknowledge me and my brother [Jack]," Osbourne stated on the podcast. "She was just in her own world doing her own thing. I do, to a certain extent, feel as though she was embarrassed of us."

Osbourne described the significant differences between them, noting, "I know … we’re very different. Everything I am, she’s not. Everything she is, I’m not. Like you couldn’t be more polar opposite. We’re like oil and water."

The 41-year-old expressed some "resentment" toward Aimee, 43, for not fulfilling a more supportive older sister role. When asked about the possibility of reconciliation, Osbourne firmly rejected it, saying, "I respect her, I accept her, but we’re different, and that’s ok. If you’re not going to accept me for who I am, and constantly be trying to change me and say horrible things about me, and truly seem to thrive when I’m not doing well, I don’t want you in my life."

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne welcomed Aimee in September 1983, followed by Kelly in 1984 and Jack in 1985. Aimee notably opted out of the family's reality television show, "The Osbournes," which aired from 2002 to 2005. She avoided appearing in family photos on the show and moved out of the family home at age 16 to distance herself from the production.

In a 2026 interview with the Independent, Aimee explained her decision to not participate in the reality show, stating she wanted to protect herself and her family while figuring out her own identity amidst the family's chaotic life. Aimee did, however, make a rare public appearance with her family at the 2026 Grammy Awards to honor their father, Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025.

Ozzy Osbourne also had three other children, Elliot Kingsley, Jessica Osbourne, and Louis Osbourne, with his first wife, Thelma Riley.
