Katie Price was seen in Liverpool on Tuesday, wearing her wedding ring, as reports surfaced that her husband, Lee Andrews, has been arrested again in Dubai. This marks the first public appearance for Price since the news of Andrews' alleged rearrest emerged.
Andrews, 42, who is described as a self-professed millionaire businessman, is reportedly back in Dubai's Al Awir prison, approximately one month after his previous release. Price was observed in the city wearing a pink tank top and grey shorts, appearing somber as she walked. Earlier on Tuesday, she was also seen with her son Harvey, checking into a Travelodge hotel.
Recent reports suggest that Andrews has had his head shaved in prison due to lice. Journalist Ellie Henman, who has previously been threatened with legal action by Andrews over exposés detailing alleged "conman" behavior, claimed that his hairpiece was discarded and his thinning hair was shaved upon his arrival at Al Awir.
Andrews is said to have been detained on a Tuesday morning, but is reportedly boasting about an imminent release, having raised a £120,000 fine. A source indicated that Andrews informed a friend, "They’ve arrested me. Katie might need to bail me out. We need to make a noise with a Go Fund Me." The source added that Andrews had been stressed in the days leading up to his arrest, concerned about money he believed he owed.
Price is currently in the UK following the release of her Sky documentary and an appearance on "This Morning," where she has continued to defend her marriage. The couple has faced challenges in recent months, including Andrews' previous four-week detention in Al Awir prison on fraud allegations, though he contends he was captured at gunpoint after being suspected of espionage.
Andrews has publicly denied fraud charges, stating in an Instagram post that there is "not one shred of evidence" against him and criticizing his ex-fiancée Alana for spreading such stories. He claimed he was "taken to the Qatar border by the men, at gunpoint and was captured by men with assault rifles," adding that he was "slapped around a little bit."
Andrews has also faced accusations from multiple ex-partners of defrauding them. Most recently, he was accused of taking £5,000 from a "vulnerable woman" in an alleged scam, which he has denied. His sudden disappearance previously led Price to claim he had been kidnapped before it was revealed he was being held in Al Awir prison.
Earlier reports from January indicated that Andrews had taken out a £200,000 mortgage in the name of his ex-partner Dina Taji without her knowledge. Taji subsequently took legal action, resulting in a travel ban from Dubai for Andrews. Taji has reportedly met with Price to warn her about her husband.
Another ex-partner, Crystal Janke, claimed Andrews convinced her to hand over £123,000 for an investment in his company, promising a £1 million return. His ex-fiancée Alana Percival has also issued warnings about him on social media. Andrews has denied these allegations.
